A church is obviously more than just a building - it's the living, breathing body of Christ. That's why we place a strong emphasis on fellowship and fostering strong connections between our members. Our congregation is a vibrant mix of nationalities, and we strive to uphold the motto, "Open hearts, open minds, open doors" so that no matter who you are or where you are from, you always feel at home at Grace Methodist Church.
Growing in Grace
Small groups, big support.
Since our members live in different parts of the Greater Jakarta area, we also meet in smaller groups through a program we like to call "Growing in Grace" (GiG). The purpose of these smaller groups is to foster friendship and to help each other to grow in God’s grace.

Our Mission
Loving our Neighbors
Church exists to serve God by loving His people. We are especially concerned about the welfare and education of children in Indonesia. We limit our focus to walking alongside preschools within the Methodist Church in those near our church site.
Grace Kids Preschool
Grace Kids Preschool is part of our ministry to support families in Kelapa Gading and the surrounding area. Our aim is to provide a quality education at an affordable price. Tanah Merah Kindergarten and Kids English Club
The Tanah Merah community comes from different parts of Indonesia, who have all come to Jakarta in pursuit of a better life. However, many quickly realize that life in the city is far from their expectations. We try to show our love to the less privileged portions of this community by ministering to their children. We provide a kindergarten with healthy snacks every month, and every Saturday, from 3 -5 p.m. we support a Kids English Club. Our team visits the community and provides free English lessons to instill a fun and creative learning spirit. In the near future, we will also plan to establish a reading corner for the children.
Preschools in Lampung
We try to walk alongside the preschools by providing quality nutrition and teacher training. We try to supply educational toys and teaching aids. We’re still learning as we move forward how best to empower these preschools.
